Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the buildshed.dev website, operated by BuildShed, a small UK-based software company. By using the site you accept these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.

Using the website

You may browse the site for your own information. You agree not to misuse it — for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting it, scraping it at scale, or using it for anything unlawful. We may restrict or withdraw access if these terms are breached.

Content and intellectual property

All content on the site — text, design, graphics, logos and code — belongs to BuildShed or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may link to the site, but you may not copy, republish or reuse its content without our permission, except where the law allows.

ProductGuard and other products

ProductGuard is in development and pre-release. It is not yet available to install or buy. Anything the site says about ProductGuard or other planned products is indicative of our current thinking, not a commitment to release a particular feature, on a particular date, or at all. Nothing on the site is an offer to supply a product. If and when a product is released, it will have its own separate terms.

Waitlist and early access

Joining the ProductGuard waitlist registers your interest only. It does not guarantee that you will receive early access, a place in any queue, particular pricing, or that ProductGuard will be released. We may contact waitlist members, change how early access works, or close the waitlist at any time.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t warrant that it will be accurate, complete, up to date, uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your particular needs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildShed will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to the site and these terms

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, and we may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with the date it took effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them or to the site.
