Plenty of everyday business problems are small, specific and genuinely annoying. The usual answer is another all-in-one platform that solves ten things adequately and your thing badly.

BuildShed goes the other way: small, sharp products that do one useful thing properly, and get out of your way.

Small software studio.
Big problems are interesting.

BuildShed builds focused software for practical problems that businesses run into — starting with Shopify merchants and online stores, where a small data issue can quietly do real damage.

The name is the idea: a workshop where useful software gets built, properly, without much fuss. First out of the shed is ProductGuard. More will follow — and alongside our own products, we take on Shopify app and integration work directly for businesses that need something built properly.
